Glenburnie Market Report 06/02/2019

Warm, windy conditions over the last week saw a very mixed quality yarding.  The offering of 1468 contained more cattle that had started to slip, therefore yields would be lower.  Competition came from a full field of buyers with some feedlot and restocker enquiry for cattle.  The best young cattle showing freshness lifted in price 10 to 12 cents per kg.  Inferior bred cattle lacking condition sold cheaper at 170-222c per kg.  The bullock market was similar as quality is playing a key role in prices.

BULLS:   Sold at 9am.

Bulls sold to solid demand leaving prices unchanged on the previous week with heavy sound bulls making from 200-225c per kg.
